Happy Family Night Market

Festival ∙ Food, film, art | 2018

Happy Family Night Market is a first of its kind event that celebrates Asian American heritage through the lens of food. Inspired by the vibrant open air bazaars in Asia and the multicultural evolution of America, our event aims to explore Asian American narratives through food, art, films, and panel discussions with writers and chefs.

HFNM gathers and engages a broad audience of curious eaters and cooks to share good food and conversation. By embracing curiosity, diversity, and passion for Asian American cuisine, Happy Family Night Market is an inclusive and creative platform for all. The inaugural event was on July 14, 2018 and drew nearly 2000 attendees.

Happy Family Night Market is an annual event. To learn more and subscribe to our newsletter, visit happyfamilymkt.com. Special thanks to our 2018 partners at 99 Scott, The Cleaver Quarterly, Print All Over Me, UnionDocs, and Bubble T.
